Add a publishing routine to your Lovable site

Building the website is only the beginning of a useful blog. RankYourApp provides an installation prompt for Lovable or your coding assistant, then supplies articles through its content API. You can also use a managed blog subdomain if you prefer to keep the installation separate.

Install a blog that serves real article pages

Choose the AI builder connection and the blog address you want. Give the installation instructions to the assistant maintaining the project. The blog needs a public index and article routes with content in their initial HTML, supplied by server rendering or a refreshed build.

A client-side request that fills an otherwise empty page is not the same installation. Ask the assistant to follow the metadata, image, link and public-page requirements in the developer guide, then deploy the resulting website.

Store the content key privately

The setup prompt currently includes the workspace key. Before pasting it into a chat, use a private editor to replace the embedded value with a server-variable reference. Enter the real key through the hosting platform's secure secret input.

Do not put the key into browser code, a public environment variable or source control. The same principle applies to Cursor, Windsurf, Bolt and Replit: the deployed server or private build needs the key, rather than the public browser.

Check the deployed route before scheduling

Open the blog and article pages on the public hostname, then run the installation check in RankYourApp. Verify the listing, body, cover, metadata and links before relying on scheduled publishing.

For an existing blog, preserve the current address and original content source. If the chosen hosting mode cannot support the installation, use a managed blog on your own subdomain or ask a developer to choose a supported server or build route.

Common questions

Does RankYourApp need my Lovable API key?
No. The content installation uses a RankYourApp workspace API key. The website's private server or build configuration stores that key.
Can I use Cursor or Windsurf instead?
Yes. The installation prompt can guide another coding assistant, but the website it deploys still needs to meet the server-rendering or build-time content requirements.
