A managed blog beside your existing website

Keep your main website on its current platform and use a managed blog on a subdomain you own. RankYourApp handles the blog destination while you confirm the domain, link it from your website and choose the content and review schedule.

Use an address your business controls

Choose an address such as blog.yourcompany.com and follow the DNS instructions displayed during setup. The person managing your domain needs to add the exact records shown, then complete verification for DNS and HTTPS.

The temporary rankyourapp.io/blogs/ address is a preview. It should not become the permanent address in website navigation or marketing material. Wait for the intended public hostname to work before sending readers there.

Connect readers to the rest of your website

Add a clear Blog link to your main site's navigation. Read the public blog as a visitor and check the route back to relevant product or service pages. Hosting the blog separately should still feel like part of the business website.

This option can work alongside Webflow, Wix, Shopify, Squarespace and other platforms. It does not mean RankYourApp publishes into each platform's native blog or CMS; it provides a separate managed destination on your domain.

Decide how existing content fits

If you already have a blog, inventory its posts and preserve its original URLs and content source before changing anything. A new subdomain should not silently replace working article pages or discard content that readers already use.

Once the destination is verified, set review mode or automatic publishing and follow the first delivered article through to its public page. Keep checking article status when domain settings change or a delivery problem appears.

Common questions

Can I keep my website builder?
Yes. A managed blog can run alongside the existing website. You need domain access and a public navigation link to the verified blog address.
Is a hosted preview the live blog?
No. The RankYourApp preview address is temporary. Complete the setup for your own blog domain before treating it as the public publishing destination.
