Product updates

What's new in RankYourApp

The main changes we have shipped to make running your business blog easier.

Looking ahead? See our roadmap.

Added

  • Try RankYourApp on a temporary test blog before connecting your own website.
  • Add your name during setup and update it later in Settings.
  • Format draft articles visually, switch to Markdown or preview, and choose supported fonts and text sizes.
  • Follow shipped improvements in the changelog and see upcoming priorities on the roadmap.
  • Receive renewal reminders, payment confirmations and payment-action notices in the familiar RankYourApp email design.
  • Edit published articles in a separate draft, then check and publish changes to the same URL without using another article allowance.
  • Unpaid inactive accounts now receive advance deletion warnings, cleanup confirmations and an article export in Settings.

Improved

  • Account recovery now explains how to use an existing account and set up email sign-in alongside Google.
  • New writing, images and automation stop when trial or paid access ends. Your saved articles and drafts remain available.
  • Current paid plans remove RankYourApp attribution from hosted blogs automatically, with an optional attribution setting.
  • Sharper case-study screenshots and product stills, with dated evidence and full-size viewing.
  • Terms and Privacy explain the 40-day blog and 60-day account inactivity policy and paid-account protections.
  • Case-study cards show focused, readable product previews instead of miniature desktop pages.
  • Article drafts follow the assigned topic more closely, with varied evidence-backed guidance and concise quick answers.

Fixed

  • Removed the duplicate test-blog link during setup.
  • Case-study screenshots open in a zoomable full-size view, with readable report figures and consistently sized evidence cards.
  • A collapsed desktop sidebar closes promptly after navigation and stays folded when returning to the tab.
  • The product tour title uses the available desktop width and wraps naturally on smaller screens.
  • Marketing page titles use the available desktop width while descriptions stay easy to read and smaller screens wrap naturally.
  • Transactional emails use the current RankYourApp icon and wordmark consistently.
  • Public page headings now use the animated gradient accent, at the start of long titles and centered under short titles.
  • Shorter Shopify, Wix, Squarespace and case-study headings avoid cramped two-line desktop layouts while keeping natural mobile wrapping.

Added

  • Explore the product tour, connection guides and dated customer examples.

Improved

  • Refreshed RankYourApp branding across the website and new Stripe checkout sessions.
  • Eligible promotion codes can now be applied in Stripe Checkout.
