Schedule and approval
Choose the cadence, time, timezone and what happens when a draft waits for you.
Before publishing
Open Calendar → Schedule and approval. Choose Publish automatically to write and request publication on your schedule, or Let me review first to have drafts wait for review.
In review mode, If you do not reply offers Publish after a few days or Wait for me, always. The waiting period can be 1 to 30 days. Publication still has to pass the checks. Use the always-wait choice if you require your approval for every article.
Your schedule
Choose How often, At what time and Timezone, then click Save schedule. Use a valid timezone such as Europe/London. The page shows the next article time when the site is running.
The available cadences are:
| Cadence | Largest monthly schedule |
|---|---|
| Every day | 31 articles |
| Three times a week | 14 articles |
| Twice a week · Monday and Thursday | 9 articles |
| Once a week | 5 articles |
Keep the schedule within your plan
The allowance is shared across every site in the workspace. Billing checks schedules against their busiest month. A daily schedule can require 31 articles, so the 30-article Growth plan does not cover that schedule. Reduce the cadence or choose enough capacity for all sites. Plans and billing
Pause and start again
Pause my blog stops new writing and publishing for the selected site. Nothing is deleted and existing published articles stay where they are. The same card changes to Start again when paused.
Pausing the blog is separate from canceling a paid subscription. Manage the subscription from Billing if you also want to stop its renewal. Plans and billing
Schedule a particular draft
An article's review page has its own Publish later instead date and time. That schedules the specific article, rather than changing the site's recurring writing cadence. Reviewing an article
