Managed blog and domains
Put a managed blog on your own subdomain and finish its DNS and HTTPS checks.
Choose your own blog address
Choose the managed placement during setup or when adding a connection. Enter a subdomain you control, such as blog.yourcompany.com. This creates a separate blog at that address. Moving posts from an existing blog there needs a separate migration. Existing blogs
Add the records shown for your domain
In Connect your own blog domain, request the setup records for your subdomain. Copy each record shown into the DNS service that manages the domain. Use the exact record type, host and value from your setup; do not substitute records from another site's instructions.
Keep this page's status in view. If it says RankYourApp domain hosting is awaiting activation, your settings are saved and publishing remains paused.
Verify the public installation
Click Check DNS, HTTPS and installation. The page explains what is still pending, or shows Live domain verified and Open live blog when verification succeeds. If setup is still pending, complete its installation check too.
A temporary rankyourapp.io/blogs/ address is for reviewing setup. It cannot activate publishing and is not your live company blog. The live destination needs your verified domain.
If the domain is not live
Read the displayed reason, check the records against your DNS provider and run the check again after correcting them. Keep the records in place while the blog uses that address. If activation remains pending, contact support with the domain and the message shown. Never send API keys or passwords.
