Google Search Console

Connect search data for topic research, indexing, rankings and clicks.

Connect your property

Open Connections and find Data sources → Google Search Console. The page displays the service-account email to add.

  1. In your Google Search Console property, open Settings → Users and permissions.
  2. Add the exact email shown in RankYourApp as a user.
  3. Back in RankYourApp, check Your property. The initial domain-property value looks like sc-domain:yourcompany.com.
  4. Click Connect.

Use a property your account can grant access to. Read any error shown before trying again.

What it supplies

Search Console is a data source. Available search data can inform topic research, including searches where your site almost ranks, and fills in the Google metrics on Performance after the next reading. It does not install a blog or replace a publishing connection. Performance

When numbers are missing

Without measured Google data, Performance says the numbers need Search Console or shows Not measured yet. Missing measurements are not reported as zero. Check the property's connection status and read the date of the latest report. A connected property does not guarantee that Google has indexed every published article.
